Regulations We Follow
Cordoba Trading FZCO is a DMCC-licensed Designated Non-Financial Business or Profession (DNFBP) operating in the precious metals sector. Our activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable UAE Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) laws, DMCC rules and guidance, and relevant international standards. We apply a risk-based approach to compliance across all jurisdictions in which we operate or source material.
Compliance Program
We maintain a robust AML/CFT and sanctions compliance program aligned with DMCC DNFBP requirements, FATF Recommendations, and OECD Due Diligence Guidance. The program includes a formal compliance manual, a designated Compliance Officer, ongoing staff training, independent reviews, and comprehensive record-keeping. All counterparties are subject to risk-based due diligence, and suppliers are expected to maintain compliance controls consistent with local and international regulatory expectations.

Responsible Sourcing
Cordoba Trading FZCO is committed to responsible gold sourcing, including supply chains linked to artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). Our sourcing practices align with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and internationally recognized responsible gold standards. We emphasize transparency, traceability of material and funds, and the identification and mitigation of risks related to human rights abuses, environmental harm, money laundering, and illicit finance.

Latin America
Latin America is an important sourcing region in the global precious metals supply chain, supported by long-standing mining activity, established export channels, and growing regulatory oversight. We collaborate with exporters and supply-chain participants across the region and continuously evaluate opportunities to responsibly expand our sourcing footprint in line with local regulations and international responsible sourcing and AML standards.
East Africa
Africa is an increasingly important sourcing region for precious metals, supported by diverse geological endowments, active artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) communities, and expanding formal export infrastructure.
